The Synergy R from Rigaku offers an exceptionally bright beam from a rotating anode Cu source, which enables studies of 50 µm samples – both single and polycrystalline. It is equipped with a 2D detector and a cryostream blower, which can cool samples down to 100K, and heat up to 400K. We have multiple sample holders available, as well as sample mounting equipment and data analysis software. Data analysis is done in collaboration with Prof. Lars Öhrström from the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
